Chants Libres welcomes the mezzo-soprano Marie-Annick Béliveau and her ensemble Les salons de l’ombre jaune in residence. They will present the fruits of their labour, a singular event named Celos, based on the compositions of Marco Antonio Perez-Ramirez, on Monday February 3rd, at the Lion d’Or at 8:00 pm.

Chants Libres, with its Artistic Director Pauline Vaillancourt, presents its 15th new opera, Le rêve de Grégoire by Pierre Michaud, who also wrote the libretto, with stage direction by René-Daniel Dubois and stage design Gabriel Tsampalieros.
Le rêve de Grégoire is a voyage at the crossroads between reality and fantasy, with music that is quasi Felliniesque, performed by three Montreal ensembles brought together for this opera: the Bozzini String Quarter, the Quasar Saxophone Quartet and the Sixtrum Percussion ensemble, conducted by Walter Boudreau.
